    • Not at all. TCWC is designed for people at many stages—those who are just beginning to explore an idea, those in the middle of a manuscript, and those who have already published and want clearer direction or stronger strategy.

If you are newer to writing, you will gain clarity, direction, and practical next steps.

    • The Texas Christian Writers’ Conference welcomes writers at every stage, from those just getting started to multi-published authors.

This event is designed is for writers who are committed to continuing to grow, both in their craft and in their platform and publishing strategy.

If you are further along, you will have the opportunity to refine your skills, strengthen your marketing systems, expand your reach, and engage in meaningful, higher-level conversations during workshops and Q&A sessions.

Because the conference is intentionally smaller, attendees have real access to faculty and space for thoughtful dialogue, not just surface-level teaching.

Our goal is simple: to help every writer take their next step, wherever they are on the journey.

    • No. TCWC is for faith-driven writers and communicators—whether your work is for the Christian market or the general market. Our focus is on stewarding your message well and honoring God with excellence and integrity.

    • Both!

    • Both!

    • Both. We focus on craft, clarity, calling, and next steps. You will gain insight into publishing options, but the heart of TCWC is helping you develop a strong message and a clear path forward.

    • That’s great! One of the practical topics we’ll be covering at TCWC is how to share your work professionally and confidently, so you can get your book into the hands of more people.

    • TCWC is intentionally relational and practical. This is not a hype-driven event. It is designed for people who want meaningful teaching, thoughtful conversation, and insights and strategies they can actually use.

    • No. This is a live, in-person event. You have to be here. Come connect with other writers in real life.

    • The registration fee for the Texas Christian Writers’ Conference is all-inclusive. It covers your hotel accommodations, meals, and full access to the conference experience.

Many conferences price the ticket separately, and attendees are responsible for booking and paying for lodging and food on top of the registration fee. We intentionally chose an all-inclusive model so you can arrive, settle in, and focus fully on your writing and calling without managing additional logistics or surprise expenses.

This is also an intentionally smaller, immersive event. You will not get lost in a crowd. You will have meaningful access to faculty, dedicated time to write and reflect, and space to build real connections with other Christian writers.

Our goal is to create a focused, distraction-free environment that equips and encourages you to take your next step as a writer.

    • Yes! A generous sponsor has donated 5 full scholarships. Scroll all the way to the top of this page to enter.

Thanks to that sponsor’s gift, you can use the code CALLED2WRITE for $250 off the registration fee.

    • Yes. You may use the code 3PAYMENTS at checkout to split your registration into three installments.

The first payment is due when you register. You’ll receive an invoice for each of the remaining two payments.

Note: Other discount codes can not be used with the Payment Plan option.

    • No, but you can sell your ticket to another author if you can’t attend.

    • Business casual is the dress code. Wear comfortable shoes and if you enjoy trail walking, bring a pair of runners or hiking boots.

    • A laptop with a good battery and/or a charge cord. You’ll have opportunities to brainstorm, write, and put what you’re learning into action.

    • Who knows?! This is Texas. We are hoping for a beautiful, bluebonnet-filled week, but check the forecast for Navasota, TX, before you leave the house and pack accordingly.
