More Than a Writers’ Conference: Why Gathering Matters

Writing may be a solitary pursuit, but it doesn't have to be a lonely one.

Last week, I was reminded why gathering with others who share our mission matters so much.

Sometimes we need new ideas. Sometimes we need a fresh perspective. And sometimes we just need to be reminded that we're headed in the right direction.

That's what I hope writers experience at the Texas Christian Writers' Conference: opportunities to grow individually, grow together, and grow closer to God.
