We believe in nurturing the whole writer: body, mind, and spirit.

About the Texas Christian Writers’ Conference

Texas Christian Writers’ Conference (TCWC) brings Christian writers and communicators together to learn, connect, and grow. Held at Camp Allen near Navasota, Texas, the conference offers a beautiful, peaceful retreat setting within driving distance of Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, and Bryan/College Station.

We are writers, speakers, podcasters, bloggers, coaches, and business leaders seeking to fulfill God’s call on our lives as creators who follow Jesus. As Christian communicators, we seek to be Spirit-led and approach our work in ways that honor God, whether we write fiction or nonfiction for adults, teens, or children.

Learn

At TCWC, you’ll learn about the craft and business of writing so you can communicate more effectively and take your next steps toward publication. We believe that, as ambassadors for Christ, we have a responsibility to pursue excellence in our work and lives. That includes continually growing in our skills and understanding of the publishing industry.

Connect

Writing grows through community. At TCWC, you’ll meet other Christian writers and learn from publishers, editors, agents, and other industry professionals who share their expertise and insights. You’ll also have opportunities to pitch your work and explore your publishing options.

Grow

We believe that faith in God and the active presence of His Spirit should guide the way we live, work, and write. Prayer and worship are integral parts of TCWC, creating space for spiritual growth, renewed perspective, and refreshment as you pursue your calling.
